1. Cookies, Tracking or Automatic Data Collection

182 Wisdom and Wisdom Protective Websites: We do not use cookies, tracking technologies (for example, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel), or collect any personal data automatically from visitors to www.182.wisdom.com or www.wisdomprotective.com. You may browse these Websites freely without providing any personal information. If we implement such tools in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. Note, however, if you engage with any of our third-party platforms (e.g., for payment, scheduling or to provide information), their privacy policies and cookie practices differ from ours and will apply when engaged. (See Third Party Platforms linked to from our Websites, with links to their privacy policies).

Wisdom Training Academy & Google Analytics: To help us understand the effectiveness of our advertising for Wisdom Training Academy, we use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4)) which uses, but does not store or log, the IPO addresses of the visitors to www.wisdomtrainingacademy.com, to identify approximate location data for site visitors (like city, region. country). Once geographical metadata is derived from the IP address, the IP address is immediately discarded or masked to protect visitor privacy. For more details about GA4 as it relates to data privacy and security see Google Analytics Data Privacy and Security. For addition information about Google, which will collect, process and delete / mask the IP addresses, see Third Party Platforms below.

2. Age Restrictions

We are in the business of providing security services and solutions, security training and other ancillary building, security, and protective services. Our services are intended for business and individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under age 18.

3. SMS Texts: Consent and Opt-Out

If you provide us with your mobile number to receive updates, alerts, or other communications via SMS text messages regarding our business or services, you consent to receive such messages from us. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. For help, reply “HELP” or contact us directly at 718.766.5392.

No mobile information will be shared with any third parties for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories of data exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, and this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Phone Calls and Voice Messages

If you contact us by phone:

• We may record phone calls for quality assurance, training, or record-keeping purposes.
• We may retain your phone number and any voice messages you leave, including the content of those messages, to assist with your inquiry or for internal business purposes.

By calling us, you consent to this practice. If you have concerns about this practice, please let us know at the beginning of your call.

5. Wisdom Training Academy

We operate Wisdom Training Academy, offering in-person and virtual classes on matters relevant to the security industry (for example, security guard license certification classes). If you engage with our Websites regarding our training business, please be aware of the following:

a. Information We Collect, Process and Maintain

We collect, process, and maintain personally identifiable information (“PII”), including sensitive PII, that students and prospective students provide to us directly for example when registering for classes, completing required forms, participating in exams, or communicating with us. PII that we collect includes:

• Full name
• Address
• Email address
• Phone number
• Security Guard License information (if applicable), including
  • State ID number
  • Photo
• Driver’s License or State ID – this is considered sensitive PII

b. How We May Use This Information

Business Operations: We may use the PII collected consistent with our business purpose including to:

• Process and manage your course registrations;
• Verify your identity and licensing credentials;
• Communicate with you about your appointments, payments, forms, and training;
• Comply with New York State obligations related to Security Guard Licensing;
• Improve our services and ensure compliance with internal policies;
• Collect and process payment information.

Some of the information is collected, processed, and maintained on the third-party platforms of our trusted vendors, which have their own privacy policies (see Third Party Platforms below).

We may also use the information for the following purposes:

Marketing: To identify information about upcoming classes and events that may be of interest to you and to contact you regarding the same (for example, sending information about NY Security Guard License refresh training to those who have NY Security Guard Licenses).

Employment Opportunities: To identify employment opportunities with us and contact you regarding the same (for example, we may use your address to identify you as a someone who may be interested in applying for an opportunity in your region).

6. 182 Wisdom Corp

182 Wisdom Corp is our property management business. If you engage with our Websites regarding this business, please be aware of the following:

a. Information We Collect, Process and Maintain: We collect, process and maintain PII supplied to us on our Websites related to our buildings and rental spaces. If you choose to book space online, you will be directed to the PickTime platform (see Third Party Platforms below) where we will collect contact and payment information. We also collect, process, and maintain in the Buildium platform (see Third Party Platforms below) the following PII of our tenants: principal name(s), enterprise EIN if applicable, contact information & emergency contact information (phone; email), lease terms and payment details.

b. How We May Use this Information

We may use information supplied by you on our Websites to identify services and properties that may be of interest to you and to contact you regarding the same.

We may use information obtained from our tenants to facilitate lease administration and the collection and processing of rent and other payments.

7. Wisdom Protective Services

a. Information We Collect, Process and Maintain: We collect, process and maintain PII provided on our website expressing interest in our services. We do not collect, process, and maintain information about our security clients on our Websites.

b. How We May Use this Information. We may use information supplied by you on our Websites to contact you regarding our services. If you choose to pay for our security services by credit card, we may use QuickBooks to process the payment (see Third Party Platforms below).

8. Data Protection Principles Related to PII

We are guided by the following principles related to any PII we collect, process, and maintain from our Websites.

a. Fair, Lawful & Transparent: We collect and process PII fairly, lawfully, and transparently.

b. Collection Limited: We limit our collection of PII to specified and legitimate purposes and do not further use (process) PII in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes, except as required or permitted by law.

c. Accuracy (Data Integrity): We strive to maintain the accuracy of the PII and will update information as legally necessary (or as desirable giving due consideration of the business purpose for which it is collected and maintained). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any PII collected on our Websites by contacting us at privacy@simaren.com. Note, however, that certain information may need to be retained for compliance with legal requirements.

d. Retention: We retain PII for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, or for such longer period as may be required or permitted by law (for example, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) requires us to retain PII that may be collected on our Websites to meet certain reporting requirements).

e. Safeguards (Confidentiality & Security): We use administrative/contractual, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your PII. (That said, this is not a guarantee as no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Third Party Platforms

We do not share your PII with any third parties except for third parties that assist us with the collection, processing, and retention of the PII, as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We seek responsible third-party vendors whose privacy policies and practices align with the standards outlined in this Privacy Policy. That said, we do not control these third party’s data collection or processing practices and do not guarantee that they will meet, or continue to meet, these standards. We identify the following third-party platforms and their Privacy Policies:

Acuity Scheduling: We use Acuity Scheduling, a SquareSpace product, for booking appointments and classes at the Wisdom Training Academy. If you book an appointment with us using this platform, you acknowledge that SquareSpace may collect and process certain personal information, such as your name, email address, phone number. For more information about their privacy practices, you can access the SquareSpace’s privacy practices at squareup.com/legal/privacy.

Buildium (182 Wisdom Corp): We use Buildium to collect rent and other lease related payments of our tenants in our buildings. When you pay your rent or other payments through the Buildium platform, we will collect your name and ACH banking or credit card information on this platform. You can access Buildium’s privacy policy at buildium.com/privacy-policy/.

Google: We use a Google product, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to assist us in evaluating the effectiveness of our Wisdom Training Academy website in directing traffic to www.wisdomtrainingacademy.com. As mentioned above, details about GA4 and data privacy and security features is found at Google Analytics Data Privacy and Security . JotForm: We use a company-specific instance of JotForm to collect information on various forms. Examples of such forms include student advisory notes and exam responses for our training academy. For more information about JotForm’s privacy practices, please visit jotform.com/privacy/.

PickTime (182 Wisdom Corp): We use PickTime to facilitate scheduling space rental in our buildings. When you book event space in our buildings, we will collect your name and payment information on this platform. You can access PickTime’s privacy policy at https://www.picktime.com/legal/privacy.

Quickbooks (Wisdom Protective Services): We use QuickBooks, an Intuit platform, to process credit card payments for security services. If you choose to pay for our services by credit card, we will collect your name and credit card information on QuickBooks. You can access Intuit’s privacy policy at intuit.com/privacy/statement/.

Stripe (Wisdom Training Academy / 182 Building): We use Stripe to process payments for Wisdom Training Academy and for booking space at our buildings. If you choose to pay for our training classes by credit card or if you book space at our, we will collect your name and credit card information on Stripe. You can access Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Zoom: We use Zoom for all our phone and SMS text communications and to host our virtual classes at the Wisdom Training Academy. When you register for and participate in our virtual classes, you acknowledge that Zoom may collect and process certain personal information, such as your name, email address, and any information shared during the session, in accordance with their privacy policy.
